The stability and performance of the optical communication network directly affect the user experience and the service efficiency. As the wavelength shift power fluctuation noise interference in optical channels always become the invisible threats to network operation and maintenance, how to monitor the optical channel performance accurately in real time is the core demand of operators and system providers.
To this end, Accelink spares no efforts to develop a new generation of high-resolution OCM. The OCM is based on coherent detection technology with an in-house built-in ITLA and ICR. Comparing with the traditional OCM technology, the frequency resolution accuracy can be greatly improved to 1GHz level. Therefore, more spectrum details can be detected in the multi-rate and multi-modulation formats WDM system. It can identify the service wave channel and even the modulation format so that it provides more powerful support for the intelligent management and operation maintenance.
Based on the function of Flex-grid with min 0.3125GHz granularity, the product supports the detection of extended C-band 0.3125~4875GHz bandwidth. It supports the performance monitoring on single wavelength 10Gb/s~1.6Tb/s and multi-rate mixed transmission. The detection frequency accuracy reaches ±1GHz. Taking a 50GHz channel as an example, the detection channel power range covers -35~0dBm and the power accuracy is guaranteed within ±0.7dB. This OCM also supports fast scanning and reporting in specific scenarios. In addition, it can adapt to high density system design based on the compact dimension to improve the equipment integration.
